Town Hall will be closed on Friday July 2nd, 2010 for Indendence Day
The First Annual Oak Grove Heritage Homecoming Festival* was held Saturday May 22nd at the Oak Grove Walking Track Park.
It was an all-day music festival with local music, folk music and "Three On A String!"
The festival was also our annual celebration of Bloise Zeigler Day and the celebration of Older Americans Month.
A dedication service was held to honor Mr. Bloise Zeigler during the opening ceremonies.
Town Hall has already started working towards next year’s event and looks forward to a bigger and better festival in 2011.
Comet Grove is GROWING!
Corn, watermelons, cantaloupes, beans, butterbeans, lima beans, peppers, okra, squash, tomatoes and more to come.
Your help is needed as we approach harvest time. There are things that need to be done daily.
We also need you to tell your friends, neighbors, family, your churches and your workplaces about the Garden.
You can help and be a part of this wonderful community project
Garden Meetings are held every Thursday Night at 6PM at "The Barn" located at Comet Grove.
Air Conditioned Inside and Light Refreshments are served.
